Hello! I am Susan Davis Warren, MT-BC, owner of GREYLOCK MUSIC THERAPY I am a native of Berkshire County and a Board Certified Music Therapist. I received my degree in Music Therapy from SUNY New Paltz in 1995 and am a member of the American Music Therapy Association and the Certification Board of Music Therapists (CBMT). I have been working throughout New England in public and private schools, early intervention centers, group homes, nursing homes, residential centers, memory care centers, and in private practice for over 26 years.
I absolutely LOVE my job and it rarely feels like “work” to me! My passion is working with children with speech, language and communication challenges. I have extensive training in Sensory Integration, Oral Motor therapy, and Improvisational song writing.
In 2017 I began working in eldercare and with seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in addition to my pediatric caseload. While the majority of my professional career has been spent in early intervention and K-12 classrooms, I was pleasantly surprised to find that many of the skills I have acquired transferred to working with adults and seniors as well. Witnessing the pure JOY music brings to seniors was magical and powerful. I truly believe the music experience is universal, and can reach the human spirit during all phases of life!
